Bybit September Delistings: L3/VIC Trading Ends Today and ICX Perpetual Closes September 18

Bybit has two separate delisting processes reaching hard deadlines on September 17 and 18. They affect different products and should not be merged into a claim that Bybit is broadly withdrawing support for all trading.

L3 and VIC spot delisting

  • Sep. 16, 08:00 UTC: L3 and VIC deposits close.
  • Sep. 17, 08:00 UTC: L3USDT and VICUSDT spot trading ends.
  • Sep. 17, 08:00 UTC: L3 and VIC removed from Convert.
  • Sep. 17, 08:00 UTC: related DCA/Spot Grid Bots automatically terminate if still active.

Open spot orders are automatically removed when trading ends.

Withdrawal treatment differs

Bybit says withdrawals can continue after trading closes. However, VIC withdrawals end December 16, 2026 at 08:00 UTC.

After VIC withdrawals close, Bybit says VIC may be converted into stablecoins on users’ behalf, but conversion is not guaranteed.

No equivalent final L3 withdrawal date is stated in the announcement.

ICXUSDT perpetual delisting

Bybit separately announced that ICXUSDT perpetual will be delisted September 18 at 09:00 UTC.

At delisting, active/conditional orders are cancelled and open positions are automatically closed. The closing price is based on the average index price during the 30 minutes before delisting. The contract is also removed from Trading Bots and unfilled Copy Trading orders are cancelled.

Execution risk

For L3/VIC spot, the main issue is loss of Bybit trading access and, for VIC, a later withdrawal deadline.

For ICXUSDT perpetual users, the issue is forced position closure at a platform-defined methodology. Traders wanting their own exit timing need to close earlier.

Confirmed / Official Bybit
